*A few notes. When we say "period" publication, we mean 1945 or before, during the lifetime of Rene Lalique. When we say "modern" publication, we mean after 1945, after the death of Rene Lalique. All period publications priced at over $200 are photographed individually. But mass produced items, such as modern books and auction house catalogs, show a reference picture. We take one cover photo, even if we have 3 copies. So for example, if you are looking at an original 1932 catalog picture, it's the one in the ad. But if you are looking at a 1999 Christie's New York Decorative Arts sale catalog or a modern book, it's a photo of that issue catalog or book, but maybe not the exact one you're buying if we have multiple copies. This would also be true for a period magazine priced under $200. All items are in good to very good condition unless noted. So if the spine is separating, we will note it. But we might not note the occasional mark or minor crease in a page or minor wear consistent with age or careful use. If these things are important to you, please email us at Library@RLalique.com before purchasing and we'll look at the items you are interested in and report back in more detail. Also, sizes, page and photograph counts are approximate. Any catalogue that is roughly close to 8 1/2" by 11" inches does not have the size noted. Finally, as you can tell, to get the thumbnail photos to be in proportion and all the same size, some scans or photos of books and other items are cropped.
